Water ConservationTime to wise up to water wasteWater, the most basic natural building block of life. And covers 70% of the earth’s surface. Yet it is in short supply in many regions of the world, including Europe, due mainly to climate change and increased water consumption. In fact, the UK is currently seeing the lowest rainfall, groundwater and reservoir levels for decades.* That’s why it’s essential that we make the most of the water we have and not waste it. At Welsh Water, we’re committed to water conservation and promoting water efficiency. Together we can conserve this precious resource at home and at school, and in this section we’ll show you how. You can even download our DIY Water Audit Leaflets for school and the home. *Source: Waterwise.
