A passion for water. A passion for the community

A passion for water. A passion for the community.

We love helping schools, business and other members of the community discover more about water. That’s why we’re continually supporting and running a number of campaigns aimed at raising awareness of the role this precious resource plays in our lives.

From here you can find out more about our very latest water campaigns, discover how to get involved, and download useful information and activities to use at work, school or at home.

Through environmental education related to our business Welsh Water’s supports the communities it serves. This commitment has recently been rewarded when we won two prestigious awards at this year’s Business in the Community Awards Ceremony held in Cardiff. We were awarded the Silver Jubilee Big Tick Award for long term commitment to education which recognised companies whose programmes have delivered a long term positive impact over ten years or more. We also picked up the Regional Company of the Year Award 2007 which is awarded to companies who can demonstrate an integrated approach to responsible business practice across all impact areas – marketplace, workplace, environment and community. Please view our short 2 minute DVD which illustrates this.
