Can you imagine a world where you turned on a tap and nothing came out? Of course not! We are used to having clean water whenever we need it and in abundance. In fact, each of us uses, on average, 150 litres of water a day.
Despite water seeming to be everywhere, it is in increasingly short supply in many regions of the world, including Europe. Here in the UK we use 70% more water now than we did 30 years ago – that’s a lot!
We must respect water! That’s why we should always try to make the most of the water we have, and not waste it. This section is your guide on how we can look after this precious resource at home and at school.
